| Pharmacology: |
Vasaka is an expectorant and liquefies thick and tenacious sputum so that it is easily brought out. Dudhi causes relaxation of bronchi by action on the Central Nervous System. Jethimadh is a
mild expectorant and demulent. Huma controls the asthmatic paroxysms. Nala is an expectorant and bronchodilator. Kaiphal is used in chronic cough, asthma, bronchitis and lung affections. Kababchini and Senega are expectorants and stimulants. Balaharde is used in cough, and
asthma. Swarnakshiri is an expectorant and sedative. Pipli is used in cold, cough and asthma. Kakarasinghi is an expectorant and anti-astmatic and is used in conditions of the respiratory tract. |
| Indications:

Acute and chronic cough. Useful as cough sedative and anti- spasmodic. Useful in various irritant cough. |
| Dosage: |
Adults
: 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day.
Children : 1/4 to 1/2 Tablet regulated according to age. |
