Sariva is a well known drug in Ayurveda. Traditionally the root is considered to be a demuslscent, diaphoretic, diuretic and tonic. It is used in loss of appetite, fever skin diseases, luecorrhoea etc., root has anti microbial, potent anti-inflammatory, hepatotonic and antioxidant activity.
Punarnava is a diuretic, anti-inflammatory, adaptogen, hepatotonic and anti-stress.
Haridra is anti-inflammatory antimicrobial, stimulant, antifungal, aromatic and antioxidant
Triphala relieves constipation, useful in enlarged liver and as anti-inflammatory
Sharapunka is recommended for boils pimples etc. It is useful as tonic, laxative, diuretic, as blood purifier and as hepatoprotective
Bhringraj is used as chologogue, deobstruent and in spleen enlargement.
Elva is a Liver tonic, anthelmintic and used in skin infections
Kalmegh is used as febrifuge, anthelmintic, antipyretic, tonic and in liver diseases
Neem is anti-inflammatory and analgesic, useful as antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and in cutaneous diseases
Gudduchi is antibacterial,
antifungal, antiprotozoal, and possesses antistress, antiallergic activity and it is immunostimulant, hepatoprotective, useful in hyperacidity, in skin conditions, urinary disorders and as a tonic
Gulab is antioxidant, antimicrobial, mild analgesic, cooling, antifungal, astringent and excellent blood purifier. |
